These are postcards made in the early 90s while traveling.
I met Alan Bloom (mr Blue we called him because of his provicilivity for
blue minerals like chrysocolla) at Quartsite Gem and Mineral fair in 1994.
When he saw these actual postcard pieces, he me asked me if i would like my art
to last longer that i do. I said yes, he said start using good paper and took
me to an art store to buy some 70lb. hot press watercolor paper.
I still did postcard size pieces but never on po post cards like these:
